Justin is a Partner in Northgate’s San Francisco office with experience in both venture capital investing and investment banking advisory across Silicon Valley and Europe. He has held investment roles at Saints Capital, Four Rivers Group, and SVB Capital, focusing on Series B to pre-IPO rounds in AI, cybersecurity, fintech, quantum computing and robotics. Justin led investments into Rigetti ($10B market cap), Palantir ($400B market cap), Covariant (acquired by Amazon), Navini Networks ($330M acquisition), Valtix (acquired by Cisco) and eBags ($105M acquisition) and part of team investing in Square ($47B market cap) Twitter ($30B market cap), Fireeye ($3B), Xoom ($1.1B M&A).
He has also advised on transactions involving Facebook, Softbank, Intel, Accel-KKR, Nuance, Choice Hotels, and Sage Group.
Justin has lived on three continents and is an avid traveler, visiting over 45 countries. He holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a double-major B.S. from Wright State University, where he played Division I soccer.
He also co-founded the GLOW Foundation, a non-profit providing financial literacy and grants to underprivileged youth, serving over 300,000 students across the West Coast before merging with BUILD.
